If you go to the Green Valley Ace Hardware located at 115 W Esperanza Blvd, they have the colors on file in their system. They also have samples available for you to view. Just tell them you are part of Desert Hills III East HOA.
Sample Paint Color Packets
The Architectural Committee has color sample packets available for your viewing to make the selection process easier. Ask any committee member to borrow a packet. Our HOA has tried to insure pleasant, consistent desert colors are used in our HOA. It is suggested that you talk to your neighbor prior to painting.
When preparing to paint your house the process is simple:
- Talk to your neighbor prior to painting. This is not only good for relations, but you both may be able to save money on work. You may borrow sample colors swatches from any committee member.
- Print out our Architectural/Landscaping Change Form. Complete the information on the form as well as your color choices for the house, trim and scupper from the chart below. Return the form to a member of the Architectural Committee for final approval prior to painting.
- All of the palette colors are locally available using the manufacturer's paint codes. The chart lists the paint name, brand name and color number. With this information any paint store or your contractor can mix the correct color. They will be able to input the information into their computer to mix the correct tints and ensure the correct color is obtained.
Paint Policy: Homeowners wishing to repaint the outside of their residence will be required to have approval from the Architectural Committee. The outside color of the home must be one of the approved HOA colors. It is encouraged, but not required, that you consult with your adjoining neighbor regarding the color to promote uniformity for the entire building. Approved 03/22/2019
