Astronomy and star-gazing event!
Friday, October 9th, 6:00-8:30pm at Arivaca Dancehall, 17271 W. 5th St. in Arivaca, AZ
The night will begin inside the dancehall with a presentation about solar eclipses by local astronomer Bob Yoesle, and end out in the dancehall garden with star-gazing through powerful telescopes with special guests from the Kitt Peak National Observatory!
Harvest Hoedown
Saturday, October 17th, 4:00 - 7:00pm at Longhorn Grill and Saloon
Join the fun with a chuckwagon menu, full cash bar, raffles, line dancing and DJ Savy from Tucson playing country favorites. Tickets $20 per person. More information to come.

Get in the Spirit: Tubac’s 11th Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration
 
Discover magic. Celebrate life.
Experience the unforgettable vibrant tradition of Tubac’s annual Día de los Muertos celebration, a beautiful event that brings the community together to honor those who have passed. Also known as Day of the Dead, this cultural tradition is rooted in the belief that the spirits of our loved ones return to visit us during this time.
 
Throughout the village, ofrendas (altars) are lovingly created and adorned with photos, favorite foods, drinks, and cherished items of those being remembered. Casa Maya de Mexico, event organizer, provides everything you need to decorate your ofrenda, booth, and procession signage, making it easy for participants to create beautiful displays. Whether you’re new to the tradition or return each year, all are welcome to take part in this meaningful and heartfelt celebration of life.

4th Annual Car and Truck Show

The Green Valley Elks Lodge 2592 is holding a Charity Car Show to benefit Elks Veteran Services. This is a great event for car and truck enthusiasts and their families to enjoy. Ample free parking available, DJ Michael Reeves spinning the tunes, food & drinks available.
